These APIs leverage Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology to validate and extract data from government-issued identity documents across multiple countries. Simply host the document on a public URL and provide that URL in the API request. Our system scans and retrieves information from the document, delivering it in the API response.
The process operates asynchronously. The first API accepts details such as country code, document type, and the public URL where the document is hosted. It returns a reference ID in the response. You can use this reference ID to call the second API, which verifies the details and retrieves information associated with the identity document. This asynchronous approach allows you to continue other tasks while our system securely checks the information against relevant government databases.
