Document Verification and OCR

The Document Verification feature for Bureau's Identity Verification suite provides your business a way to extract the data from a given Identity Document and carry out verification from official sources

Features

Bureau supports a variety of Identity cards globally to carry out Document Verification by:

  1. Optical Character Recognition (OCR): Extracting data from the Official Document including images and text
  2. Document Classification: Checking if the provided document is passed correctly or not
  3. Verification : Checking from official sources on the authenticity of the provided document

Accessibility

Document Verification product is accessible for use via both API and SDK

Indian Documents Database Checks (Government Checks)

For the Government Checks capability, the identity number of the specific document is considered and mapped or matched against the respective government database or source to give out relevant information.

The information includes and is not limited to:

  • ID match against input
  • Full Name
  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Residential Address
  • Official Address
  • Date of Birth
  • Name and Date of Birth matches against input

Note: The output will vary from input to input and on the available information present on the respective data source of the government database.
